Precinct Meetings Information
News | 31 Jan 2013Oklahoma Republicans,
All registered Republicans will be eligible to participate in their precinct meeting being held in February. While the State Party has set Thursday, February 7th as the official statewide day for these meetings, many counties are holding their respective county precinct meetings on another day.
Therefore, please contact your county chairman for more information on exact day, location and times. We will be posting county precinct information as we receive it.
If your county leadership is not responding to your requests for precinct information, please contact State Party HQ immediately- 405-528-3501.
Q: Why do I need to attend my precinct meeting?
A: The only way to properly and effectively organize our Party is at the local level, and that means the precinct level. Our efforts must be block to block and neighbor to neighbor. Furthermore, at these meetings you can be elected to be a delegate to your county convention, and elections will be held for precinctleadership positions that will serve for the next two years. Bottom line: there is not a more important GOP meeting for you to attend this year.
Q: Do I have to be a registered Republican?
A. Yes, you have to be a registered Republican by the day of your county precinct meeting NOT by January 1st of 2013. A uniform registration deadline will be a topic of discussion at future state committee meetings but any rule change will not affect 2013 GOPmeetings.
The world is controlled by those who show up. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Sincerely,
Your OKGOP Team

I want to know why as a Veteran with over 47 years and 11 months of continuous Federal Service for our Country that I’m not getting information I need for my Family. We’re five Republicans in our household and feel slighted that we’re not being kept informed. I received nothing from our great nation in recognition for the years I gave to our country; however, I feel that someone should be talking to me and my Family.
