The nation’s 25 Republican attorneys general selected the chairman and executive committee members during RAGA’s winter annual meeting in Washington D.C.

“I am honored to represent Republican attorneys general for another year to continue our battle against excessive regulations and mandates from Washington that seek to strip the Constitutional role of states and violate the rule of law and due process,” Pruitt said. “From fighting Dodd-Frank to protecting taxpayers and business owners from excessive environmental regulations that unnecessarily hike utility rates, Republican attorneys general have become the last line of defense for the rights of our states and our freedoms.”

The members of the 2013 RAGA Executive Committee are:

Attorney General Scott Pruitt, State of Oklahoma, Chairman

Attorney General Luther Strange, State of Alabama

Attorney General John Suthers, State of Colorado

Attorney General Pam Bondi, State of Florida

Attorney General Sam Olens, State of Georgia

Attorney General Bill Schuette, State of Michigan

Attorney General Alan Wilson, State of South Carolina

Attorney General Greg Abbott, State of Texas

“I would like to thank General Pruitt and the rest of the 2013 RAGA Executive Committee for their hard work and dedication,” said Chris Jankowski, president of the Republican State Leadership Committee. “Our attorneys general are on the front lines protecting our states from overreach by the federal government, and are a strong defense to fight back against the Obama administration.”

The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) is the only national organization whose mission is electing Republicans to the Office of Attorney General. Since its founding in 2000, the impact of RAGA has been significant in electing Republican attorneys general across the country.
