What we do at the State Party

-Recruit and train candidates and their campaign staffs
-Financially support our Republican Officers and volunteers
-Conduct training for County Republican Officers
-Hold voter registration drives to register new Republican voters
-Develop and maintain a volunteer and voter database
-Plan and coordinate Party fundraising events and activities
-Provide year round stability with permanent Headquarters and staff
-Serve as a voice for the state GOP with media and press relation operation

Since 1906, the Oklahoma Republican Party has been working to make Oklahoma a better place for families and businesses to prosper.

The Republican Party has grown to become a powerful force in Oklahoma today, representing the values of most Oklahomans. We are the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal empowerment, and individual responsibility.

As Ronald Reagan put it, “A political party is a mechanical structure created to further a cause. The cause, not the mechanism, brings and holds the members together. I believe the Republican Party can hold and should provide the political mechanism through which the goals of the majority of Americans can be achieved.”

The Republican State Party in Oklahoma is the political mechanism that provides a strong, conservative voice for everyday Oklahomans. Through our conventions and various other party gatherings, we connect Republicans with their elected officials, strengthening their ties with Republican leadership.
